Dr. Briggle's research consists primarily of bioethics, environmental studies, ethics and policy of science and technology, and philosophy of science, technology and society. Dr. Briggle spent three years as a post-doctoral fellow in the Philosophy Department at the University of Twente, the Netherlands. He is also an active member of the Society for the Studies of Science and Society for Philosophy and Technology.
