Going green and white: Update
As previously reported, the UNT System Board of Regents voted at its May meeting to change the Health Science Center's colors to better align branding across the entire UNT System. Over the last few weeks, it has been determined that a more comprehensive rebranding review for the Health Science Center is appropriate as brand identities are developed for the System itself and the new Law School.
Marketing and Communications will be working with System designers and representative groups from across the campus to formulate our brand identity and brand standards going forward. That process will take some months to accomplish, and therefore a full launch of the brand will be delayed to later in the fiscal year.
You will be getting a feel for “going green” at the upcoming Employee Appreciation Day, but please note that the color you see may not be the final color chosen for our campus.
For now, continue to use existing supplies of printed and other branded items. More details and brand-usage guidelines will be communicated later. If you have any questions, please contact the Marketing Department at ext. 5190.
Class of 2013 cleans up the Trinity Trails
It didn’t take the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine Class of 2013 long to start giving back to the Fort Worth community. During orientation, the entire class, along with the Medical Student Government Association (MSGA), volunteered to clean up along Trinity Trails. MSGA executive council members Bill Betz, Christian Dean, Matt Garcia, Ghazaleh Moayedi and Amir Barzin coordinated with the Fort Worth Parks and Recreation Department to plan the clean-up. The group picked up trash on Trinity Trails near the new Fort Worth Police and Firefighters Memorial.
