New Research Conflict of Interest Policy goes into effect

8/24/2012

The new policy applies to ALL research activities, proposals and awards after August 23, 2012. Investigators won’t be able to access new award funding or submit grant proposals until they have (1) attended training and (2) submitted an annual disclosure statement.

The policy mandates training and reporting requirements by “Investigators”. Investigators include anyone, regardless of title or position, who is responsible for the design, conduct, or reporting of research, funded, or proposed for funding. Examples include, but are not limited to Faculty, Post-docs, Students, and Sub-recipients.
