Cardiovascular Research Institute Overview

The Cardiovascular Research Institute (CRI), founded in 1995, seeks to further our understanding of cardiovascular disease and improve the techniques used in the prevention, detection, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease and the rehabilitation of its victims. The diseases we target are: myocardial infarction, hypertension, congestive heart failure, and stroke.

The Cardiovascular Research Institute supports a multidisciplinary program designed to promote basic and clinical research, education, clinical practice and community outreach programs in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of cardiovascular disease of human beings of all ages.
