Ogoh Promoted to Research Assistant Professor at UNT Health Science Center

ShigehikoOgoh.jpg Shigehiko Ogoh, PhD, research instructor in the Department of Integrative Physiology at UNT Health Science Center, was recently promoted to research assistant professor.

Dr. Ogoh’s research interests include arterial blood pressure regulation during exercise. He recently received the American College of Sports Medicine’s New Investigator Award.

A native of Japan, Dr. Ogoh earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Osaka City University, a master of science degree in physical education from Nippon College of Physical Education, and a doctoral degree in human and environmental studies from Kyoto University.

Dr. Ogoh currently resides in Fort Worth.
