MOORMAN NAMED PRESIDENT-ELECT OF STATE ORGANIZATION

moorman.jpg Thomas Moorman, EdD, associate vice president for student affairs at UNT Health Science Center, was recently named president-elect of the Texas Association of College and University Student Personnel Administrators.

Dr. Moorman has been serving as director of data management and technology for the organization. In 2003, Dr. Moorman received the Outstanding Student Affairs Professional award from TACUSP.

TACUSP is an organization made up of student affairs administrators and practitioners from colleges and universities throughout the state of Texas. The organization provides professional development and training for members.

Dr. Moorman received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in educational psychology from Texas A&M University and a doctoral degree in education from the University of North Texas. He is a member of the 2005 Leadership Fort Worth class and serves on the Greater Fort Worth-Arlington Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation board. He and his family reside in Weatherford.
