LACKAN JOINS UNT HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER FACULTY
Nuha A. Lackan, PhD, recently joined UNT Health Science Center as an assistant professor in the Department of Health Management and Policy in the School of Public Health.Dr. Lackan was a postdoctoral fellow at Sealy Center on Aging at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Her research interests include end of life care and aging and minority health issues.
Dr. Lackan received her bachelor of arts degree in biology from Austin College, a master of arts degree in social gerontology from the University of the Incarnate Word, and a doctorate in preventive medicine and community health from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
A native of Dallas, Dr. Lackan currently resides in Fort Worth.
