SANDERLIN NAMED ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN THE DEPARTMENT OF FAMILY MEDICINE

BretSanderlin.jpg Brent Sanderlin, DO, has been named assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.

Before joining the Westside Family Medicine Clinic, Dr. Sanderlin served as a family physician at the Naval Branch Medical Clinic in Fort Worth. Dr. Sanderlin serves as a Unit Commissioner in the Silver Star District of the Boy Scouts of America and is a member of the Tarrant County Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services.

Dr. Sanderlin earned a bachelor of science degree in general biology from Texas State University and a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. A former member of the United States Navy, he served as a certified flight surgeon and completed his residency in family practice at the Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla. Dr. Sanderlin is president-elect of the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association, District 2.

He currently resides in Fort Worth with his wife, Mona, and their three children.
