UNT HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER'S KALISH SELECTED FOR LEADERSHIP TEXAS

KalishChris.jpg M. Christine Kalish, MBA, administrative director of the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, has been selected for Leadership Texas.

Leadership Texas is a statewide women’s leadership program begun in 1983 to expand the knowledge and leadership skills of women statewide. The Leadership Texas program is sponsored by the Foundation for Women’s Resources.

Kalish earned a bachelor of science degree in health services administration from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She earned a master of business administration degree from Texas Christian University.

Kalish is a TCU Top Neeley Scholar and has received scholarship awards from the Medical Group Management Association. She is a member of Alpha Eta, a national honor society for healthcare professionals and currently serves on the TCU MBA Alumni Executive Board, mentoring women in the MBA program.

A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Kalish has been employed at the health science center for one year. She resides in Fort Worth.
