MOAYAD NAMED TOP DOCTORAL STUDENT IN SOCIAL AND BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES AT UNT HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER
Neda Moayad, DrPH, was named the outstanding public health doctoral student in social and behavioral sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.Dr. Moayad is a native of Iran and currently resides in Colleyville. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, holding a bachelor of arts and a master of arts degree in sociology. She graduated with a doctorate of public health at spring commencement ceremonies.
She plans to work at non-profit organizations or in research at area universities.
Dr. Moayad received the award at the School of Public Health’s annual awards banquet on May 6.
