WARREN PROMOTED TO ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN THE DEPARTMENT OF PATHOLOGY AND ANATOMY

WarrenJoseph.jpg Joseph Warren, PhD, assistant director of the DNA Identity Laboratory, was promoted from instructor to assistant professor in the Department of Pathology and Anatomy at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.

Dr. Warren teaches courses in forensic genetics. He is a qualified expert witness in forensic biology, forensic DNA analysis, molecular biology, forensic hair and fiber analysis and bloodstain pattern analysis in most North Texas counties as well as several counties in Louisiana, Mississippi and Delaware.

A native of Morristown, N.J., Dr. Warren earned a bachelor of science and master of science degrees in biology from Tulane University and a PhD in molecular biology from the University of North Texas.
