WHITE WINS W.O. STOCKSETH AWARD AT THE TEXAS COLLEGE OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE SENIOR AWARDS RECEPTION

Heath White, DO, received a certificate and $1,500 as this year’s recipient of the W.O. Stockseth Award given at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine senior awards reception.

This award was established by Wayne and Norma Lee Stockseth and is presented annually to a TCOM student who has demonstrated outstanding comprehension of osteopathic principles and concepts, and who has exceptional aptitude in their application to manipulative treatment.

Dr. White, a native of Dangerfield, earned a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry from Baylor University, a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from TCOM, and a masters degree in clinical education and research from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the health science center.

The senior awards reception was held May 19 at the Fort Worth Club.
