ROBERTS WINS BUNNELL AWARD AT TEXAS COLLEGE OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE SENIOR AWARDS RECEPTION

me1.jpg Clayton Roberts, DO, won $500 and a plaque as this year’s recipient of the Bunnell Award at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine’s senior awards reception.

Some of the qualifications a recipient must exhibit to win the Bunnell Award include: a rank in the upper one-third of the class; a grade of 83 or higher in the three month GFP clerkship; and an interest in entering general practice as a career choice as evidenced by acceptance into a residency in general or family practice.

Dr. Roberts, a Lamesa native, earned a bachelor of science degree in animal science from Texas Tech University and a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from TCOM. He will complete his residency in family practice at the Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock.

The senior awards reception was held May 19 at the Fort Worth Club.
