SWAIN WINS T.R.SHARP AWARD AT THE TEXAS COLLEGE OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE SENIOR AWARDS RECEPTION
Jeremy Swain, DO, won $1,000 and a plaque as this year’s recipient of the T. R. Sharp Award at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine’s senior awards reception.Some of the qualities a recipient of the T.R. Sharp Award must exhibit include membership in the Zeta Chapter of ACGP at TCOM, a desire to become a general practitioner as demonstrated through the Zeta Chapter or in clinical rotations, and having demonstrated industry, diligence, integrity and compassion.
Dr. Swain, a Corpus Christi native, earned a bachelor of science degree in biology from Texas A&M University and a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from TCOM. He will complete his residency in family practice at the Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Ga.
The senior awards reception was held May 19 at the Fort Worth Club.
