GALVAN ELECTED VICE CHAIR OF UNITED COMMUNITY CENTER OF FORT WORTH BOARD
Robert Galvan, DrPH, assistant professor in the Department of Health Management and Policy at the University of North Texas Health Science Center was elected vice chair of the board of directors for the United Community Centers of Fort Worth.
Dr. Galvan was sworn in at the UCC annual banquet in Fort Worth on April 5.
Dr. Galvan earned his bachelor of science degree in biology from East Texas State University in Commerce, a master of science degree in environmental science with a specialization in environmental quality control and natural resource management from the University of Texas at Dallas, a master of public health and a doctorate of public health from the UNT Health Science Center at Fort Worth.
A native of Fort Worth, Dr. Galvan currently resides in Fort Worth.
