PATEL RECEIVES TOP FORENSIC GENETICS STUDENT AWARD AT BANQUET

Kaajal Patel was named the top student in the forensic genetics department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.

Patel will graduate in August 2005 with a master of science degree in forensic genetics. Patel earned a bachelor of science honor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Regina.

A native of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, Patel currently resides in Fort Worth.

Patel received the award at the Graduate Student Association’s annual awards banquet on April 29.
