UNT HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER NAMES COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR
Andrea Arterbery was recently named communications coordinator for the marketing and communications department at the UNT Health Science Center.Arterbery previously worked at the Dallas Business Journal as an editorial assistant in Dallas. Prior to that, she served as both reporter and managing editor for The North Texas Daily, the student newspaper of the University of North Texas in Denton.
A native of Marshall, she has completed reporting internships at the Marshall News Messenger and The Tampa Tribune in Tampa, Fla.
As communications coordinator, she will handle public relations, coordinate advertising and coordinate the Speakers Bureau at the health science center.
Arterbery is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in marketing at UNT. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in journalism from UNT. She currently resides in Denton.
