FREE HEALTH SERVICES OFFERED AT HISPANIC WELLNESS FAIR AUGUST 3

The 4th Annual Hispanic Wellness Fair will be held Saturday, August 3, in the West Texas Room of the Amon Carter Exhibits Hall, Will Rogers Memorial Complex, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The fair is open to the public and is free of charge.

Services featured include free prostrate cancer screenings, skin cancer screenings, and mammograms provided by Harris Methodist Hospital. Please call 1-888-442-7747 to schedule an appointment for a mammogram and to find if you qualify for financial assistance. The Tarrant County Immunization Collaboration will provide free children’s immunizations. Parents are asked to bring their children’s shot records.

Other free services provided include vision and dental screenings, blood pressure checks, diabetes testing, cholesterol screenings, and HIV testing. Providers will also offer health education materials, chair massages, body fat analysis, bicycle helmets, and Children’s Health Insurance Program applications.

Fort Worth Cats baseball players, Manny Lopez, Tony Jaramillo, and Jose Guzman, will make a guest appearance from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
