Welcome to the UNT Health Science Center.

This is an exciting time for the UNT Health Science Center due to our unprecedented growth - in more ways than one!  Enrollment is increasing annually and our students’ accomplishments continue to make important contributions to health care in our community.  Our incredible staff and exceptional faculty members are growing and are dedicated to the success of our vision - to become a top 10 health science center. The size of our campus has greatly expanded and now has 1.4 million square feet of buildings in the heart of Fort Worth’s Cultural District.  Alumni and community involvement are also on the rise, as are new research grants and patient encounters at UNT Health, Tarrant County’s largest multi-specialty group practice.

Our nationally recognized University is home to the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, the School of Public Health, and the School of Health Professions, which includes the Department of Physician Assistant Studies and our Physical Therapy Program.  The new UNT System College of Pharmacy will be housed on our campus and will begin classes during the Fall of 2013.  We have world-class programs and partnerships including the Institute for Aging and Alzheimer’s Disease Research, the Institute of Applied Genetics, the Osteopathic Research Center, the North Texas Eye Research Institute , the Center for Commercialization of Fluorescence Technologies, the Cardiovascular Research Institute, the Texas Prevention Institute, the Center for Women's Health, and the Institute for Cancer Research.

We are passionate about engaging the community to improve health and welfare.  UNT Health, the Texas Center for Health Disparities, the Center for Community Health, and numerous educational outreach programs are wonderful outlets to reach those in our community who need outstanding health care.

The UNT Health Science Center is looking to an even brighter future.  I am honored to work with such outstanding people on a daily basis and welcome those who want to become a part of the UNTHSC family.
