Bio
Dr. Lawson came to UNT in 2001, before which she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University School of Public Health. She was awarded a Congressional Fellowship through the American Sociology Association in 2006 with Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson. Before coming to UNT, Dr. Lawson taught and conducted research at the University of Kentucky, Transylvania University, the University of California-San Francisco, the University of California-Berkeley, and the National Institute of Aging.
