Donna Asher, Associate Vice Chancellor for Business Services, has more than 20 years of service in various roles within the University of North Texas System. Donna is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, she earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and Master of Business Administration degree from UNT, and is in the final phases of pursuing her Ph.D. in Information Science. She has also served as president of the Texas Higher Education Human Resources Association and is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management, the Colleges & Universities Professional Organization for Human Resources, and the National Association of College & University Business Officers. Since 2004, Asher has served as UNT’s Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, Administrative & Fiscal Services; Vice Provost for Academic Resources; and Associate Director of Human Resources. Donna joined the UNT System Business Service Center as its founding administrator in June 2011. She hopes to use her experience, knowledge, skills and abilities to build the BSC, and make it a model for which the UNT System can be proud and others can replicate. | ||

Joey Saxon serves as the Executive Director of Operations for the BSC. He began working at UNT in 1989, and served as the Senior Director of Purchasing & Payment Services and Director of Student Accounting & University Cashiering Services. Joey received a Doctor of Education degree in higher education administration, Master of Business Administration degree, and Bachelor of Business Administration degree from UNT. He has served on the BSC Core Implementation Team, UNT Information Technology Council, UNT Enrollment Management Committee, president of Texas Bursars & University Cashiers, and numerous statewide committees. Joey is actively involved in several local civic organizations, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Aubrey Independent School District. He is proud to be part of the BSC Team and the shared service initiatives that are taking place across the UNT System. |

Mary Atkins, Executive Assistant to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Business Services, joined the BSC in August 2011 after serving as a staff member at UNT for 12 years. Mary worked in the Office of the Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs for 10 years. Prior to that position, she worked in the College of Public Affairs & Community Service, and the Office of Planning and Institutional Research. Mary has also worked at Texas Woman’s University in the Office of Enrollment Management. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a focus in literature from UNT, and was a student assistant in the Division of Advancement and in the English Department as an undergraduate. Mary is currently pursuing her Master of Science degree in Library Sciences at UNT, and enjoys working in the BSC’s innovative work environment. She also enjoys being part of building something new that will significantly benefit the UNT System. | |

Leonard Bates is the Director of Information Services at the BSC. Before assuming his current role, he was the Associate Director of Human Resources (HR) Information Systems & Records in the HR Department at the UNT Health Science Center. Prior to joining the Health Science Center, Leonard had held various positions in the information technology field for more than 30 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from LeTourneau University, and has Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. Leonard was a part of the BSC implementation team and looks forward to providing better, more efficient services to all of the UNT System campuses. | ||
| Carolyn Cross, Director of Purchasing, has 16 years of service with the UNT Health Science Center, most recently as Associate Director of Purchasing. She has been in public purchasing for over 20 years and holds a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) certification. She earned her B.S. degree in Business Management from LeTourneau University in 2004 and her M.L.A degree from Texas Christian University in 1997. Carolyn looks forward to the opportunity to provide procurement services to the UNT System as a whole. | |||

Ruth Moors, Director of General Accounting, joined the UNT Payroll Office in July, 1993. Prior to working in Payroll, she worked in Claims Accounting (now Purchasing & Payment Services) for 8 years holding various positions within the office and leaving as the Assistant Director. Ruth holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Computer Information Systems from the University of North Texas. She was a part of the BSC Implementation Team, involved with the EIS implementation, has been involved with various EIS upgrades and is acutely aware of the functional use of the EIS application. Ruth is excited about being a part of the Business Service Center and the enhancements it can bring to the campus community. | |

Eddie Reyes began his UNT career in 2004 as the Assistant HUB Coordinator, Outreach, Denton. Currently, as HUB Coordinator, Eddie is thankful for the challenging experience the position has offered and enjoys working with both the public and UNT staff. In 2010 the HUB department was recognized for its work with Minority & Women business owners by the Small Business Administration, and was recognized as the Minority Business Champion of the Year. The award was presented at the White House by President Obama. Last year, Eddie was also the recipient of the Minority Business Leader Award by the Dallas Business Journal. | |

Debbie Reynolds |
Debbie Reynolds, Director of Client Services, joined the BSC after four years as the Director of Purchasing for UNT. Prior to UNT, Debbie enjoyed a 32-year career in state government, serving individuals with intellectual disabilities. In previous roles, she served as a Chief Accountant, Business Manager, Chief Financial Officer, Regional Administration Director, and as a Chief Executive Officer. Debbie is excited to be a part of the BSC Team, and is looking forward for the opportunities to blaze new trails in the shared services concept. As Director of Client Services, she is tasked with monitoring customer satisfaction and looks forward to providing the best solution to all of your needs. | |

Connie Ross, Director of Payroll, joined the BSC after nearly ten years of service to UNT Health Science Center as the Director of Payroll. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Texas in Arlington. Connie served as the HR/Payroll module lead during the EIS implementation in 2003. In November 2010, she accepted appointment to the BSC Implementation Team. This team evaluated and identified services shared across the UNT System and helped plan an organization capable of delivering those services. Connie is very proud to be a part of the BSC and is looking forward to the unlimited opportunities ahead. She is excited about her contribution to the shared service initiative, and looks forward to its legendary impact on the UNT System and higher education. | ||

Donna Shell, Human Resources Director for the BSC, is responsible for the oversight of employee benefit programs, leave administration, employee records, and applicant tracking. Before joining the BSC, Donna served as Benefits and Records Manager in the Human Resources Department at Texas Woman’s University. Prior to service at TWU, she was employed by the UNT Human Resources Department, having served the UNT campus for over 20 years in various capacities including Associate Director for Benefits and Records. Donna holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas. | ||

Susan Sims, Director of Payments for the BSC, is an alumna of the University of North Texas. Susan has worked at UNT for 25 years: one year as ImageNow administrator in Claims Accounting (now known as Purchasing & Payment Services); 19 years in Student Finance holding various positions including Security Administrator and Assistant Director; and five years in Payments & Travel. She also participated in the Enterprise Information System implementation and upgrade team. Susan is excited about the opportunities with the Business Service Center, and looks forward to working with everyone. | |
