The University Union provides many programs and services essential to making life on campus more pleasant. The Union is never a dull place. It is possible, even in this vibrant atmosphere, to find a quiet spot to relax, grab a cup of coffee or quick snack, visit a new student organization, or take advantage of one of the many programs offered in the union.
A diverse population, a variety of programs and services, and a staff of dedicated people create a climate of comfort and community at the Union.
Level 1
The Syndicate: Enjoy live entertainment and special performances from on-campus and Denton-area artists. Featuring nine large screen televisions, regulation-sized billards tables, video games, and lots of space to hang out, the Syndicate is also home to Einstein Bros. Bagels, the newest addition of dining options. Rent the space for your next party or special event.
One O’Clock Lounge: An active lounge with terraced, carpeted seating. Plug in your lap top and rest a while and don’t forget to stop by every Thursday at noon and check out the tunes at noon performance by UNT’s own lab band groups. Free events are hosted all year long.

Level 2
University Program Council (UPC): UNT’s only student-run programming board offers more than 100 premier programs and events throughout the year ranging from concerts and outings to movies and parties. You won’t want to miss out on any of these fun and exciting opportunities to meet cool people and get involved on campus.
Level 3
Union Gallery: Exhibits feature students, faculty, and guest artists. The exhibits expose the campus community to new upcoming talent. Our staff helps new artists in the Annual Student Art Competition, held each spring. The Gallery is open for viewing during regular Union hours. Lyceum Theater: Located adjacent to the Eagle Student Services Center entrance, the Lyceum Theater hosts a variety of events and presentations throughout the year from regular class lectures to small concerts and movie screenings.
