UNT deeply appreciates the individuals who choose to invest in our promising students, innovative programs and research. Donors are honored for their generosity through lifetime recognition societies, annual giving societies and a listing in the Honor Roll of Donors.


Founder's Circle

The lifetime recognition societies of the Founder's Circle pay tribute to our most generous donors.

  • The Kendall Society — $250,000 to $499,000
  • The Matthews Society — $500,000 to $999,000
  • The McConnell Society — $1,000,000 or more

The Chilton Society

The Chilton Society recognizes lifetime giving of $100,000 to $249,999.

1890 Society

The 1890 Society honors those who have named the university in their estate plans.

President's Council

  • The President's Council recognizes cumulative giving of $25,000 or more.

School and College Recognition

Recognition bestowed upon donors at the school and college level.

Honor Roll of Donors

An online publication that honors lifetime giving, planned giving and annual giving of $100 or more.
