Guide to Navigating Access to UNTHSC Systems

There are a myriad of information systems available to students at the UNTHSC.  Listed below are commonly used systems and how they are accessed.

Please note:  For new employees (beginning November 2010), your Novell ID may be your EUID.

*Domain resources need the UNTHSC\ or HSC\ prefix if your computer (and login) are on the other domain

-Wireless – Uses your network ID (EUID or Novell ID) and current network password.

-Microsoft Exchange/Outlook – Requires that you log in using your EUID, but you also must specify the Microsoft Domain.  Login using UNTHSC\EUID (note: uses a backslash).  This will use your universal password.

-Webmail (Exchange via the Web) – Address is webmail.unt.edu.  Requires that you log in using your EUID, but you also must specify the Microsoft Domain.  Login using UNTHSC\EUID (note: uses a backslash).  This will use your universal password.

-VPN – Cisco AnyConnect application which allows access from off campus/network through the firewall to access internal resources.  Uses your EUID and current network password.

- Account Management System – https://ams.unt.edu – Used for updating or changing your password across all systems.  Uses EUID and current network password.  24/7 Forgot Password is available.

- EIS – https://my.hsc.unt.edu – For access to grades, financial information and all other student information.  Uses EUID and current network password.

-Library computers – Uses your network ID (EUID or Novell ID) and current network password.

- Treasure Chest and Daily News – Uses your network ID (EUID or Novell ID) and current network password.

- HSC Microsoft Windows Domain – Uses your Novell ID and current network password

- UNTHSC Microsoft Windows Domain – Uses your EUID and current network password

- Microsoft Office Communicator – Uses your EUID and current network password

-Signature Gold and EMR (NextGen) – Uses an application specific user name and password that is not tied to any other user id and will  not use your universal password.

-Online Training – Uses Novell ID, or for new employees, EUID and the universal password.
