City traffic detours Nov. 26-30

Nov. 9, 2012

The City of Denton will close Bernard Street from Eagle Drive to Maple Street and then from Eagle Drive to Fannin Street for one week beginning Monday, Nov. 26, for improvements to existing utilities. This work is part of the Crosswind Village Apartment construction. Weather permitting, Bernard Street will reopen Nov. 30.

The affected area is on the southeast corner of campus and traffic around fraternity row will likely be heavier than normal.

Detour signs will direct vehicular traffic around construction. Drivers are reminded to use caution and heed traffic signs when driving through construction areas.
