Incubator
The University of North Texas Business Incubator is designed to accelerate the successful development of entrepreneurial companies that are seeking to commercialize locally developed technologies or to work in partnership with UNT to turn their scientific innovations into successful businesses thruan array of business support resources and services.
Through the partnerships with The Murphy Center for Entrepreneurship and the Center for Economic Development and Research UNT’s Incubator provides client companies with access to its network of experienced entrepreneurs, professional service providers, economic development partners, small business service providers, and university experts.
Discovery Park clients include community inventors, student teams and university researchers. To become a Client, companies will need to provide the following:
- Company business concept
- Disclosure of any and all business partners, Intellectual Property and status of the company

Willingness to meet all benchmarks defined by Discovery Park management in producing the following deliverables:
- Draft business plan
- Identification of funding source
- Definition of company structure and formation
Development of an operational plan that contains milestones, goals, objectives and basic strategy for the company’s first year of operations
