Performance Assessment

Assessment is the systematic process of establishing goals, performance measures, and targets, and gathering and interpreting findings to discover whether a program is meeting established goals and then of using that information to develop actions and tactical initiatives for program improvements.

Performance Assessment is an essential part of the planning and evaluation processes at UNT Health Science Center and is critical to the various institutional, school, and departmental accreditations.

The Office of Strategy and Measurement is available to support performance assessment at all levels throughout the health science center. More information about institutional accreditations, the UNTHSC assessment management system (TracDat), and assessment in general can be found by clicking the links along the upper right.
