ONLINE: Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding
Dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB) is the most frequent reason for problem-related gynecological visits in the US and accounts for a third of all gynecological visits, about 10% of family practice and about 5% of general practitioner visits annually. Many primary care providers do not understand the pathophysiology and principles of management of DUB, although the disorder can be managed in primary care. The new classification system can facilitate management of DUB.
