SHARAF JOINS UNT HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER

MaiSharaf.jpg Mai Sharaf, MD, joined UNT Health Science Center as assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine.

Prior to joining the health science center, Dr. Sharaf served as ER Medical Director for the Keller Army Community Hospital, U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y. She also served as a clinical instructor for the Emergency Medicine Division at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo.

Dr. Sharaf earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark. and a doctor of medicine degree from the University of Arkansas for medical sciences in Little Rock, Ark. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. and is board certified in internal medicine.

A native of Arkansas, she currently resides in Colleyville.
