Palmarozzi Promoted to Associate Professor of Family Medicine
Elizabeth Palmarozzi, DO, assistant professor and chair of family medicine at UNT Health Science Center, was recently promoted to associate professor of family medicine.Dr. Palmarozzi has been a faculty member at the health science center since 1993. Her roles have included program director for the family practice residency program, medical director and staff physician for the Seminary Drive Medical Center and the Lake Granbury Medical Center Primary Care clinic. She also served as acting chair of the Department of Family Medicine from 2003 to 2005, when she was named chair of the department.
Dr. Palmarozzi earned a bachelor of science degree in biology from Lamar University and a doctor of osteopathy degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at UNT Health Science Center. She is board certified in family practice.
Dr. Palmarozzi currently resides in Fort Worth with her family.
