UNT HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER OFFERS FREE CHOLESTEROL SCREENING WEEKEND

WHAT:
A free cholesterol screening where each person screened will receive a report that lists Total Cholesterol, LDL (bad cholesterol), HDL (good cholesterol), blood pressure and triglycerides.

WHO:
Sponsored by the UNT Health Science Center at Fort Worth, Parke-Davis, Pfizer and Wal-Mart.

WHEN:
Saturday, May 27, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Sunday, May 28, 12-8 p.m.

WHERE:
Wal-Mart Supercenter Parking Lot
1401 South Cherry Lane (I-30 and Cherry Ln.)
White Settlement

WHY:
Heart disease is the number one killer of both men and women in the United States. High cholesterol is a leading risk factor for heart disease, and you or someone you know could be at risk. One out of two adults in the United States has high cholesterol.

HOW:
The screening is free and open to the public.
