POST-BACCALAUREATE ADMISSION
Who is a post-baccalaureate student?
You are considered a post-baccalaureate student if you hold a bachelor's degree and wish to continue your education for personal enrichment or to meet professional needs by pursuing a second Bachelor's degree, certificate, or preparation for a future master’s program.
Post-baccalaureate students may seek admission at either the undergraduate or the graduate level. The difference depends upon your educational goals.
- Undergraduate post-baccalaureate students seek a second bachelor's degree or seek to fulfill undergraduate requirements for later admission to an advanced degree program. Certificates must be earned either concurrently while pursuing a Bachelor's degree or following the award of a Bachelor's degree. The award of a certificate will be noted on your transcript and is issued separately from your diploma
- Graduate post-baccalaureate students seek admission to enroll in certain, but not all, graduate level courses. Post-baccalaureate graduate students are not yet admitted to a graduate program. Typically, graduate post-baccalaureate students may transfer up to twelve post-baccalaureate credit hours to a graduate degree program. Be sure to visit the Graduate Recruitment Coordinator for more information.
