Check Out Materials
Borrowing Items from the Libraries
Students, faculty, staff, and members of the community with valid ID cards may borrow many library-owned items.
- Most books and a handful of other materials are often called regular circulating items.
- Some, but not all, special materials, circulate as well. These include many videos, audio recordings, etc.
- Some materials, such as new periodicals, rare, and unique items are non-circulating items. Some exceptions can be made, on occasion.
See our Circulation Policies for specifics about loan periods, checkout limits, renewals, returns, fines, and replacement charges for lost or damaged materials.
