The approximate cost of the master's degree program is $550 per semester credit hour (based on 6 hours per semester for a total of $20,000).
This figure excludes student and course fees.
The Georgia Program students will stay together as a cohort through their first year of study and will be in classes limited to only cohort students. Cohort students are encouraged to participate in the Department of Library and Information Sciences Village where they will have a neighborhood of their own.
Department Students must present evidence of relevant field experience through prior experience or by taking a field experience course in addition to the thirty-six semester hours required for the Master's.
Department of Library and Information Sciences students are expected to possess computing competencies that will enable them to learn in the distributed environment. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that these competencies are possessed. Click here for details.
