Liaison Program
Each academic department on the UNTHSC campus is assigned to a librarian who serves as its Library Liaison. In that role, he or she promotes Lewis Library services and resources, assists with research needs, and gathers feedback and requests from faculty, staff, and students. Some other examples of assistance that may be provided by the liaisons:
- One-on-one instruction in the use of research tools and databases;
- Consulting with faculty to develop informatics curriculum for their courses;
- Developing online course guides that direct students to relevant research tools;
- Assisting faculty members with deposits to the UNTHSC Scholarly Repository;
- Developing a program to house departmental archives (both print and digital).
Contact your Library Liaison to learn more about how we can support your curricular, research, and archiving needs. We can come to your office, or you are welcome to visit the Library.
