Few students get the opportunity to study on a brand new university campus. Our state-of-the-art buildings feature the latest in computer technology and our facilities epitomize “green building” and sustainability.
From high-efficiency mechanical controls for air conditioning and heating to light sensors in rooms, solar panels on the roof, rain water collection for irrigation, and recycled materials used in construction, our buildings were designed to reduce environmental impact. They are just one way we demonstrate our core value of accountability. We believe we are responsible to all Texans for how we build this new university.
We’ve designed our facilities so that faculty can be seen by students working, and this lends credibility to their roles as mentors to students. Our professors respect each other and their students, and they challenge students to develop their academic abilities to their fullest potential. Challenging students leads to creative scholarship and an intense quest for truth in the classroom.
UNT Dallas does not yet have dormitories, but on site dining services are available. Students will also find easy access to UNT Dallas apparel, snacks and textbooks in the campus bookstore.
