David Blow, UNT professor emeritus of communication design, will be the subject of an exhibition covering three decades of his career in the UNT's College of Visual Arts and Design.

Shakespeare’s immortal story of “two star-cross’d lovers” will be interpreted through Charles Gounod’s French opera “Roméo et Juliette,” presented by UNT Opera and the UNT Symphony Orchestra.
The orchestra will perform Mozart’s “Magic Flute Overture,” which premiered in 1791; Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 3, which premiered in 1842; and Carmichael’s “Phoenix: Concerto for Flute and Orchestra,” which premiered in 1980.
Students in the communication design program in UNT’s College of Visual Arts and Design have been recognized in three large competitions this year including the Dallas Society of Visual Communications National Student Show as well as the Addy Awards in both Dallas and Fort Worth.
