Why Engineering?

Engineers are well-paid professionals, on par with business managers and lawyers. Engineering graduates with bachelor's degrees have average starting salaries ranging from $48,000 to $61,000, depending on their disciplines. Master's and doctoral graduates' salaries are even higher.

The analytical skills learned in engineering can prepare you for numerous professions. Some engineers become top managers, government officials, business owners, journalists, teachers, health professionals or lawyers.
