LIS End of Program Examination Calendar

Summer 2012 LIS End of Program Examination
Dates & Deadlines Events
May 1
 LIS End of Program Examination Application opens at 8:00am (CST) on this day.
May 21

LIS End of Program Examination Application closes at 8:00am (CST) on this day.
May 25
Last day for students to file for graduation without a fee.

June 4
Semester Begins, First Class Day
June 4

There can be NO incompletes on the student's record after this date.

  • If the registrar shows an Incomplete, the student will not be cleared for the LIS End of Program Examination.
  • It is the student's responsibility to insure the Incomplete is cleared and on file with the UNT registrar by this date.
  • It normally takes several weeks for the Registrar to process an incomplete after the paper work is officially turned in, so students are advised to plan ahead.
June 8
 On this date students will be notified of their approval status for the LIS End of Program Examination.
  • If approved, they will see the EOP examination course in Blackboard Learn.
  • If not approved, they will be notified through EagleConnect.
June 8
Last day for students to file for graduation with a late fee. No applications for graduation are accepted after this date.
June 15
 LIS End of Program Examination begins at 8:00am (CST) on this day.
June 22
 LIS End of Program Examination ends at 8:00am (CST) on this day. No essays will be accepted after 8:00am (CST).
June 22
 LIS End of Program Questionnaire due. It will be in the online LIS End of Program Examination exam site. The graduate school will have a separate evaluation instrument.
July 5
 Results of LIS End of Program Examination will be reported to students by this date.
July 9
 Students who wish to appeal the results of LIS End of Program Examination submit appeal letters by this date.
July 12
 Results of appeals will be reported to students by this date.
July 13
 Results of End of Program Examination must be reported to the Graduate School on this date.

Sept. 10
 LIS End of Program Examination Application closes at 10:00am (CST) on this day.
Sept. 14
 On this date students will be notified of their approval status for the LIS End of Program Examination.
  • If approved, they will see the LIS End of Program Examination site in Blackboard Learn (https://learn.unt.edu).
  • If not approved, they will be notified through EagleConnect.
  • If the students receive neither access to the LIS End of Program Examination site in Blackboard Learn nor notification through EagleConnect by this date, they must contact  LIS End of Program Examination Committee at LIS-Capstone@unt.edu.
Sept. 14
 Last day for students to file for graduation without a fee.
Sept. 21
 LIS End of Program Examination begins at 8:00am (CST) on this day.
Sept. 28
 LIS End of Program Examination ends at 8:00am (CST) on this day. No essays will be accepted after 8:00am (CST).

 LIS End of Program Questionnaire due. It will be in the online LIS End of Program Examination exam site. The graduate school will have a separate evaluation instrument.
Oct. 6
 Last day for students to file for graduation with a late fee. No applications for graduation are accepted after this date.

 Results of LIS End of Program Examination will be reported to students by this date.

 Results of appeals will be reported to students by this date.

 LIS End of Program Examination ends at 8:00am (CST) on this day. No essays will be accepted after 8:00am (CST).

 LIS End of Program Questionnaire due. It will be in the online LIS End of Program Examination exam site. The graduate school will have a separate evaluation instrument.
Mar. 8
 Last day to file graduate degree graduation application with late fee. Graduate graduation applications received after this date will be processed for August graduation. Must be in good standing to file for graduation.
Mar. 20
 Results of LIS End of Program Examination will be reported to students by this date.
Mar. 27 Students who wish to appeal the results of LIS End of Program Examination submit appeal letters by this date.
Mar. 27 Results of appeals will be reported to students by this date.
Apr. 1
 Last day to report to the graduate dean's office the results of final comprehensive examination for graduating master's students and remove grades of I in all required courses for graduate degrees.
