The University of North Texas and Apogee have partnered to provide network service and support to your residence. To make sure you're connected the day you arrive, follow the steps below as early as August 1st to register for service. Because everyone uses the internet differently, Apogee lets you choose the ResNet service that's right for you. The speed you choose will determine how fast you can browse, stream and download from the network, as well as how many mobile device you can connect at one time (like a smartphone, wireless printer or gaming system.) Basic service is 5 Mbps with an option to upgrade to a faster speed for an additional fee. Wireless internet is available to all students living in the residence halls.

There are some restrictions on the new service in order to maximize the efficiency of this community resource. Routers, access points and other devices can interfere with network equipment; these are not allowed on the new ResNet.
