A unique way to benefit UNT students

The University of North Texas Foundation, Inc. is one of more than 14,000 organizations in the eBay Giving Works program. You can benefit the University of North Texas and its students directly when you sell items through eBay.

MissionFish is a service of the Points of Light Foundation & Volunteer Center National Network. It joined forces with eBay in 2003 to administer the program and connect sellers with the charities they would like to support.

How to give

  • Register with eBay and MissionFish
  • Pick your charity and the percentage you want to give
  • MissionFish will send you a receipt for tax filing purposes
  • Donate all your sales proceeds or a percentage ($10 minimum donation)

The donations benefit UNT's Cornerstone Fund for Scholars, which provides scholarships to students.

How it works

  • UNT will review the items being sold as a donation to assure appropriateness. You'll be notified if the university declines your item.
  • Once your item is approved, it will be posted on eBay with the eBay Giving Works icon eBay Giving Works icon.
  • Search for your item and others benefiting UNT on
eBay Giving Works or on MissionFish.
