2010 Student Guide to Navigating Access to UNTHSC Systems

There are a myriad of information systems available to students at the UNTHSC.  Listed below are commonly used systems and how they are accessed. Systems listed in red indicate that they use another username/password other than the HSC network ID and password.

- iTunesU – Protected content requires authentication using your network ID and current network password.

- Live @ Edu – Uses your full email address (i.e. EUID@live.unthsc.edu) as the log in ID, and Live password (separate from all other passwords, but you can use the same one if you set it that way).  Has it’s own Forgot Password.

- Wireless – Uses your network ID (EUID or Novell ID) and current network password.

- VPN – Cisco Virtual Private Networking application which allows access from off campus/network through the firewall to access internal resources.  Uses your network ID (EUID or Novell ID) and current network password.

- Pharos – Uses your network ID (EUID or Novell ID) and current network password.

- Account Management System – ams.unt.edu – Used for updating or changing your password across all systems except for Live @ Edu.  Uses EUID and current network password.  24/7 Forgot Password is available.
