Dr. Carlos Hernandez has been named controller and associate vice president for finance for UNT. Hernandez also will serve as the controller for the UNT System.
Michael DiPaolo will be responsible for the system-wide consolidation of information technology operations into a shared services model.

The UNT System Board of Regents approved the nomination of V. Lane Rawlins Nov. 12, beginning the 21-day period required by Texas law before they can officially appoint him to the presidency. Rawlins has been serving a one-year appointment as UNT president.
