Double your dollars for the Emerald Eagle Scholars

In 2007, UNT applied to the U.S. Department of Education Title III program for a grant to "strengthen academic programs and institutional management." Out of 255 applications nationwide, UNT was one of only two institutions in Texas to receive the grant. $295,000 of the grant has been earmarked to match donors' contributions to the Title III/Emerald Eagle Scholars Endowment.

Every dollar contributed to the Title III/Emerald Eagle Scholars Endowment will be matched 1:1 until 2013, or when matching funds are fully distributed. At the conclusion of the grant period, annual distributions will be made from the endowment to support scholarships and other Emerald Eagle program needs.

Donations will be deposited to account F0891 in the UNT Foundation.
