The Lewis Library offers the following services to retired faculty and staff of the University of North Texas Health Science Center:

• Library Access - You are welcome to visit the Lewis Library during our Service Hours.  You will need to arrive before 9:00 P.M. and depart by the time the Service Desk closes. 

  You can access all of our online and print resources when visiting the library in person.  If you like, bring your laptop computer or other mobile device and use our network to access the Internet (both wireless and Ethernet access is provided).  Otherwise, you can request use of a computer at our Health Information Station.

• Library Card - You can request a free Lewis Library card that will allow you to check out items during visits to the Library.
• Reference & Research - Librarians are available to assist you in searching the biomedical literature. We also can conduct research for you and deliver citations and abstracts to meet your information need.  You may request a librarian search using the Ask a Librarian form, or by calling or faxing the Reference Office (817-735-2070, fax 817-763-0325).
• Document Delivery - We can obtain and deliver biomedical literature, either electronically or in print, from our collections or those of other libraries.  The base fee is $5 per item, but additional copyright or lender fees may apply.  read more >>
• Library Classes - Free classes are offered perodically on popular research tools such as PubMed.  read more >>
