I thought the Lady Bears Basketball game on Friday the 9th of November was at 5:30 in the evening. Has the time been changed for the game?

    •  At Precinct 75 (Lorena Highschool) here in McLennan County, there are about a dozen ILLEGAL Obama Biden signs posted at the polling location. Every other sign is legal for evey other candidate be it democrat or republican. It is required to have the legal disclaimer on them and there isn't one. THESE NEED TO COME DOWN IMMEDIATELY!

  21. Election coverage on the newsroom TVs? Nope. Waco City Council meeting! There's actually other news going on, y'all. Can you believe it?
  22. In other news, how about that Halo 4, huh? Admittedly, I know nothing about video games. But I'm fairly certain there are some people out there more excited about this release today than the elections.
  23. Romney's folks say he'll garner more than enough electoral votes, while Nate Silver at @fivethirtyeight blog has long had the race called for President Obama. Do you believe these early predictions or hold out till the votes are actually in?
  24. Wondering if we'll be seeing a rush at some voting sites from people just getting off work. Let us know what you experience, if you're just heading to vote in the next couple hours.
  25. FROM THE OPINION PAGE DESK: All told, late civic leader Mary Ruth Duncan was involved in a wide array of pursuits, including the Waco school board, helping create the MAC Grant program, supporting the Waco Family Health Center, bolstering libraries and helping steer and support the Humane Society of Central Texas. What would you cite as her greatest achievement in our city?
