Blake Farenthold serves the 27th Congressional District. After practicing law for seven years with the Kleberg Law Firm and founding Farenthold Consulting Firm LLC, he was elected to the U.S. House in 2010. Farenthold sits on the Homeland Security, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Government Oversight and Reform committees. He received his bachelor's degree in radio, television and film from the University of Texas at Austin and received his law degree from St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio.
Todd Hunter is a Corpus Christi-based attorney who was recently elected to his seventh term in the Texas House of Representatives. During the last session, he served as chairman of the Calendars Committee and the Select Committee on Elections, and as a member of the Redistricting, Corrections, General Investigating and Ethics, and Human Services committees. The Oklahoma native attended the University of Kansas from 1971 to 1975 and Southern Methodist Law School from 1975 to 1978. He is married with three children.
