WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Charlie Dent (PA-15) will this week host British Member of Parliament Guto Bebb as part of the British American Parliamentary Group (BAPG) exchange program, arranged through the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. MP Bebb will accompany Rep. Dent at various events in Pennsylvania and Washington, DC.

The BAPG exchange has been connecting British Members of Parliament with American representatives since its inception in 1977. Through this unique exchange, six British MPs will travel to the United States to work with their counterparts in the U.S. House of Representatives from July 23 through August 1.

The program will open in Washington, DC, where MP Bebb will attend meetings with various U.S. government officials before connecting with Rep. Dent to observe American government and politics on the local level in Pennsylvania. As his final destination, MP Bebb will travel to Boston, MA to observe the state government legislative process.
