'Today's Air Force' reviews Hurricane Sandy relief operations


11/13/2012 - FORT GEORGE G. MEADE, Md. (AFNS)  -- Air Force Television News released a new edition of "Today's Air Force" on Nov. 13.

On this episode's "Straight from the Top," President Barack Obama speaks about the ongoing recovery after Hurricane Sandy. Later, Staff Sgt. Shannon Ofiara shows viewers how Airman contributed to the Relief Operations in New York and New Jersey. And finally, viewers are given an inside look at the digital evolution of Airman Magazine and its new tablet app, that puts the magazine back into readers' hands. 

This week's line-up includes:

Block 1
-Straight from the Top: President Obama speaks about Hurricane Sandy.
-Relief Operations: A look at the Airmen involved around the country.
-Reporter Interview: A telephone interview with PA at one relief site.
-Seeking Shelter: One of our own reporters provides insight about relief operations.

This 30-minute, bi-weekly news show can be seen every day on The Pentagon Channel and American Forces Television Service stations around the world.
