Redistricting |
Every ten years, after completion of the U.S. Census, redistricting takes place and Election Ward and ANC/SMD boundaries are changed to match the population of each voting district. New Election Ward boundaries are now in effect as a result of redistricting. These new Ward boundaries will be used for all Year 2012 elections. New ANC and SMD boundaries and maps are not yet available, but will apply for the Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner elections on November 6, 2012.
As a result, your Voting Precinct may have changed. If so, you have been mailed a notification and you will also shortly receive a new voter card that will include your current Ward and Voting Precinct assignments. If you are not sure of your current Precinct or Ward assignment, please use the link to confirm your voter registrations at the top of this page.
